Scilly day 10 - Subalpine Warbler

A busy day turned frantic in the last hour or so of light with news of a Subalpine Warbler (possible Moltoni's) breaking in Hughtown - in the garden of St Mary's Hotel.

Quite a gathering too and after a couple of brief glimpses it reappeared in a garden some 100m away - too distant for anything other than record shots but here's one or two 'for the record'....

Two random tail images, unfortunately not spread!

The only 'half decent' shot!

There will be better shots from others and hopefully, from earlier in the day in better light! Fingers crossed it will stay overnight - and give us a 'call' tomorrow! I'm sure I'll be updating this in the light of tomorrows action?
